Your Lawyers has been pivotal in the emissions compensation claims that have been pursued in the UK against VW, Mercedes and others since 2015.
Following our recent media coverage, we have seen a surge in sign-ups for Mercedes emissions compensation cases as well as a number of people asking for our help over the recent revelations about Nissan and Renault as well.
In 2015, we were one of the first – if not, the first – firms in England and Wales to take real action over emissions injustices. We were also the first to issue High Court proceedings in England and Wales in 2016, and we were appointed with a seat on the Steering Committee for the VW action in 2018.
We continue to fight for the rights of people who have been wronged by the use of (allegedly or otherwise) defeat device technology. If you need our help, you can sign up for a legal case today on a No Win, No Fee basis.
Mercedes emissions compensation claims
We are pursuing Mercedes emissions compensation claims for a number of clients who have signed up for our No Win, No Fee representation.
Daimler is accused of using technology that amounts to a defeat device which may allow vehicles to pass stringent emissions testing in the EU but pollute more dangerous NOx on the road. In a recent court hearing, the High Court established that the technology used by VW amounts to a defeat device, and we suspect that Daimler has also used similar technology for similar purposes.
As part of our recent media campaign, we exclusively revealed that some Claimants could be eligible to claim between £23,775.00 and £96,220.00 in compensation.
Want to know if you are affected by the Mercedes emissions issues and whether you are eligible to pursue a compensation claim? All you need to do is head over to the Mercedes Emissions Advice Page here and complete the initial forms at the top of the page. We can then confirm if you are provisionally eligible to join our group.
Nissan and Renault emissions issues
We are taking forward Nissan and Renault emissions compensation claims for both petrol and diesel models due to allegations of defeat device technology being used.
We’ve known as far back as 2016 that there was the potential for vehicles under the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance umbrella to be affected by these issues. A number of models may be affected, and if anyone’s vehicle has been subject to a recall or any technical measures applied to it relating to emissions, you may have a case.

Porsche and others
When we started representing people for VW emissions compensation claims and we launched our legal action for justice, we knew all along that there would be other carmakers likely involved in similar behaviour.
That’s why we are The Car Emissions Lawyers, and we will pursue any manufacturer who is found to be breaking the law.
Porsche – a part of the Volkswagen family – has also been embroiled in its own issues and we have represented a number of owners for several years. You can read more about the issues here.
We are also investigating emissions issues for Jaguar Landrover vehicles, and you can read more about that here.
