Please note that, as a result of the deadlines for joining the action, any enquiry you make will be sent to our partner law firm in the Volkswagen action, SPG Law, and it may be that they make contact with you in that regard. Although you may object to sharing of your data to SPG Law, by providing your details to us as part of an enquiry, you explicitly agree that we can provide your details to SPG Law for the purposes of pursuing a Volkswagen emissions claim. If you do not want us to provide your information to SPG Law you must not submit an enquiry to us.
You should note that a Group Litigation Order has been formally established in respect of a claim against the Volkswagen group following the emissions scandal. You should also note that the claim deadline in respect of the emissions scandal is 26 October 2018. This means that, if you wish to bring a claim against the Volkswagen group following the emissions scandal, you need to have registered in the action by no later than 26 October 2018. Unfortunately, this is not something that we are able to assist you with and, as such, if you wish to pursue a claim, we suggest you proceed with an enquiry which will then be referred to SPG Law, who despite the deadline are looking to include those people who have joined close to the deadline.
Please note that, given the volume of Claimants seeking to join the action prior to the cut-off date of 26 October 2018, you must obtain positive confirmation from whichever law firm you instruct that you have been joined to the group litigation. As a result of the deadline, we are no longer able to accept instructions from you, and to act for you, in respect of our group action against the Volkswagen group, as such some of the information on our website may not apply to SPG Law. SPG Law who are continuing to accept instructions to act for those wishing to pursue a claim against the Volkswagen group may be able to act for you.
